About Requiem for Justice:
Requiem for Justice (RfJ) is a biannual cultural event organized by Action for Hope (AFH), a Belgian non-profit organization that works to promote and support cultural rights in the Arab region and globally. RfJ was launched under AFHโs international program, Landscapes of Hope, a network of civil society organizations from around the world that work across different sectors in and about the Global South, to advocate for social justice and highlight the role of the arts in achieving social change. This event serves as an advocacy platform to raise awareness of social and cultural issues in the Global South through artistic expressions and discussions. This year will mark the 4th edition of Requiem for Justice taking place in Amsterdam from 19 to 22 September 2024.

Part of Common Ground Festival An exhibition by Seif Eddine Jlassi & Moussa Al Nanna An immersive exhibition that recreates the experience of a refugee camp by incorporating objects and materials commonly found in these harsh, temporary spaces that many call their homes. Featuring a collection of intricate plastic works and drawings created by children living in refugee camps on the Syrian border in southern Lebanon. The drawings offer glimpses into the displaced visions of their new homeland after the war, and how they remember it through drawings that are simple in form, but profound in content.
